Demos are always welcome. We listen to everything we get. Having said that, you need to take some things into account:
First and foremost, Contact us via e-mail before sending anything. Our e-mail address is hissingkittenrecords@cox.net
For bands that are interested in working with us: CDs and CDR's are preferred. We also may accept high-quality MP3's. And we mean high-quality MP3's. DO NOT send us a link to a pre-mastered version of your recording. All songs MUST BE mastered before submitting.
Have some pride in what you're doing. A blank CDR with a boom-box recording and an email address scrawled on it doesn't paint a particularly compelling picture of your band. Putting no effort into you demo speaks volumes and just as much effort will be put into checking it out. We are more than happy to help you with art work direction if need be.
Sadly, we DO NOT get the chance to respond to everyone who sends in a demo. It's not because we didn't like it, or didn't feel it's worth our time, but we deal with the bands on our roster first and foremost and if there's time later on.
